A Carmenere from Chile
David: Dark garnet color. Nose has ripe black current, tobacco, chocolate, bell pepper. A bit of volatile earthiness, maybe shoe polish. Full bodied, medium acidity. Silky smooth. Delicious, big red fruit. Soft tannins. Tasty finish with lingering sweetness. Great value.
